Warmer Midweek

Southerly winds and sunshine will start us on a warm up today. Expect highs hit the mid 80s today and upper 80s tomorrow. Overnight lows will still be cool, though, dropping back into the upper 50s and low 60s for the rest of the week.

Cloud cover will increase on Thursday as a cold front approaches central Illinois. Rain chances build along the front as early as Thursday night, lasting through Friday. Look for cooler low 70s for the end of the work week. Sunshine returns this weekend, but we won’t warm up too much. Highs will only hit the low to mid 70s through Sunday. We’ll be warmer for the start of next week, with highs in the mid 70s. Partly cloudy skies will take us into Wednesday, where we’ll add on a chance of showers.
