...WIDESPREAD FROST EXPECTED OVERNIGHT ALONG AND WEST OF I-55...

.AN EARLY SEASON SURGE OF CHILLY CANADIAN AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS
CENTRAL ILLINOIS TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL INTO
THE 30S OVERNIGHT...AND MAY GET AS LOW AS 32 DEGREES IN SOME
LOCATIONS WEST OF THE ILLINOIS RIVER. FROST WILL LIKELY FORM
DURING OVERNIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL
AND NORTHWEST ILLINOIS. THESE COLD TEMPERATURES AND FROST WILL
POTENTIALLY DAMAGE SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A FROST
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM CDT SUNDAY.

* TEMPERATURE...LOWS WILL FALL INTO THE MIDDLE 30S OVERNIGHT. THE
  TIME FRAME BETWEEN 4 AM AND 7 AM IS MOST LIKELY TO SEE THE
  COLDEST TEMPERATURES AND MOST WIDESPREAD FROST.

* IMPACTS...WIDESPREAD FROST IS LIKELY TO OCCUR LATER TONIGHT INTO
  EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THIS COULD BE CAPABLE OF DAMAGING
  SENSITIVE VEGETATION THAT IS LEFT UNPROTECTED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR
PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
