After a foggy start to the morning, sunshine peeked through this afternoon. We're looking at some clearing for the overnight hours, with lows around 50 degrees.
The cold front that pulled through yesterday has stalled out over southern Illinois. That will keep us partly cloudy on Thursday, with highs in the low 70s.
As the front moves south on Friday, sunshine will build in for the weekend. Look for highs to warm closer to the mid 70s on Friday and Saturday. After a brief push of cooler air from a low pressure system to the northeast on Sunday, a ridge of high pressure will build in for next week. Sunshine and southerly winds will warm us into the mid to upper 70s by Wednesday.
