WEEKEND LOOKS GREAT! Highs pressure digs in with very pleasant temperatures and abundant sunshine. Highs top out in the mid 70's
RAINY START TO THE WEEK: Cold front will swing through the area by Monday afternoon, sparking showers & storms across central Illinois. Highs top out in the mid 70's.
PATTERN CHANGE: Cooler temps to fill in for Tuesday, with highs only in the mid 60's, with overnight lows Tuesday and Wednesday morning falling to the mid 40's
FEELING LIKE FALL: Despite a warm up to the 70's for Wednesday and Thursday, long range models advertise another cool down for the end of the week next week, allowing for cool highs in the low to mid 60's by Friday and into the weekend.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL SATURDAY: The Illinois State Redbirds will be at home
against Eastern Illinois (1pm kickoff) Temps should be in the low 70's
with abundant sunshine. The Illinois Wesleyan Titans will in Holland,
MI to take on Hope College (12pm kickoff). Sunshine expected with game
time temps in the upper 60's to near 70. The University of Illinois
Fighting Illini will be at home against Charleston Southern (11am
kickoff). Again, mainly sunny with game time temps in the upper 60's.
