Clouds Return

A low pressure system to our southeast will slowly move north for the beginning of our work week. Cloud cover will gradually increase from the south starting overnight tonight. Lows will drop back into the mid to upper 40s.

Monday will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 70s. The cloud cover will be thickest on Tuesday, with a slight chance of a few showers in the southeast on Tuesday night into Wednesday. Most of central Illinois will stay dry through the middle of the week, though. Highs will hang out in the low to mid 70s into Thursday.

By Thursday night, a cold front and associated low pressure system will slide in from the northwest. This will bring a slight chance at showers Thrusday night and Friday, along with a very cold push of air into the weekend. Look for highs to only hit the mid to upper 50s (that's right, 50s) Friday through Sunday.
