SCATTERED STORMS: A warm front has pushed through the area, allowing for a slightly unstable air mass to settle in. As a result, a few showers & storms will be possible Monday night into Tuesday. Overnight lows will be mild, falling to the mid 60's, and warm highs on Tuesday topping out in the mid to upper 70's.
SUMMER LIKE WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and very warm temperatures will move in for the mid week. Highs should top out in the lower 80's across much of central Illinois.
PATTERN CHANGE: A strong cold front will work into the region on Thursday, sparking showers & storms, and ushering in cooler temperatures. Some storms could be on the stronger side, with gusty winds possible. By Friday into the weekend, highs should drop to only the lower to mid 50's.
