Another Rainy Day

A very unstable airmass settling in behind yesterday's warm front will interact with a wave of upper level energy from the southwest this morning. Expect showers and thunderstorms through the middle of the day, with southerly winds bumping highs into the mid 70s.

We'll start to dry things could tonight, with clearing into early Wednesday. Lows will only drop back into the low 60s. Sunny skies and southerly winds will boost Wednesday's highs near 80 degrees. By Thursday, cloud cover returns as a cold front moves in from the northwest. As the cold front pulls through Thursday night, a line of showers and thunderstorms will pull through into early Friday.

We'll dry things out by Friday afternoon, but much cooler air behind the front will drop temperatures drastically by the weekend. Highs will only reach the upper 40s and low 50s Saturday and Sunday. Sunshine will help warm us back up into the mid 50s early next week.
