FREEZE WATCH TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies with near to below freezing temperatures. Overnight lows anticipated to fall to the lower 30's, with a few upper 20's in spots.
COOL WEEKEND: Highs pressure settles in, solidifying cooler air mass across much of the Midwest. Highs on Saturday only rise to the upper 40's, and Sunday top out near 50.
STAYING COOL NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will remain a good 5-10 degrees below average for the bulk of the next week thanks in part to strong high pressure and the remnants of Sandy making landfall on the east coast. Sandy shouldn't make a direct impact precipitation wise for us during the week, but she will help keep our temperatures fairly cool. Highs for much of the week will start off near 50, and only rise to the mid 50's by the end of the week.
