Cool Friday, Warmer Weekend

COOL/RAINY NIGHT:  Strong area of low pressure hovers around the Great Lakes for the end of the week.  Mostly cloudy, scattered light rain, breezy conditions and chilly temperatures will be the norm.  Overnight lows fall to the upper 30's.

COOL FRIDAY:  Area of low pressure just to our north will continue the cool temperatures and rain chances for much of the morning and afternoon.  Gradual improvement as we head into the evening.  Highs top out in the mid 50's

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:  Rain should be out of the area for kick off, but still a bit breezy and chilly.  Kick off temperatures will hover near 50, and fall to the mid 40's by the drive home.

GREAT WEEKEND!  Sunshine returns to the area, with warming temperatures.  Highs on Saturday will top out in the lower 60's, and into the upper 60's on Sunday.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL:  Illinois State is at home against Missouri State (1pm).  Sunny and pleasant, with kick off temperatures in the upper 50's.  Illinois Wesleyan is in Wheaton, IL to take on Wheaton College (6pm).  Game time temps will be cool with mostly clear skies.  Temperatures at kickoff should be in the mid 50's.

STORMY MONDAY/TUESDAY:  Cold front look to take aim to start off the work week.  Showers and storms look possible Monday night into Tuesday.  Still to early to determine the chance for severe weather at this time.  Highs should return to the lower 70's to start the week.
