SHOWERS EARLY: Cold front will push through sparking showers with a few thunderstorms during the mid evening hours. Rain should clear the area by Midnight.
SHARP COOLDOWN: Once the front pushes through, temperatures will fall quite quickly into the overnight. Skies will slowly clear close to daybreak. Overnight lows anticipated to fall into the mid 30's.
CHILLY FRIDAY: Sunshine should return to the area, but it won't help in the temperature department as cool Canadian air settles in. Highs will top out in the lower 50's.
WEEKEND CHILL: Not much change for Saturday and Sunday. Mostly sunny skies will prevail under high pressure, but temperature will remain well below normal. Highs for the weekend will only top out in the upper 40's
COOL NEXT WEEK: Thanks to the surge of cool air, and with the assistance of the remnants of Hurricane Sandy, which is anticipated to make landfall somewhere between Washington D.C. and Boston early next week, temperatures will remain cool. Highs for much of the week will hold in the lower 50's. We should remain dry for this time period.
