Warm Wednesday

Calm winds and sunny skies will bring a beautiful middle of the week. Highs this afternoon are expected to reach the upper 70s and low 80s. An approaching low pressure system will increase cloud cover by tonight and add on a chance of rain by early Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will continue through the day tomorrow. A few strong to severe storms are possible, with large hail and damaging winds as the primary threat. Showers continue into Friday. Rain totals with this system will likely around an inch widespread, heavier where stronger storms set up. A few lingering sprinkles could stick around on Saturday, but most of us will dry out for the weekend. Temperatures begin dropping after today, sinking to the low 60s by Sunday. Good news is, Mom should see plenty of sunshine for Mother's Day. Sunshine will help spark a warming trend early next week. We'll see highs in the 70s and low 80s by Wednesday.
