Strong Storms Possible Tonight

Central Illinois is under a slight risk for severe storms Tuesday evening.  The primary threats will be damaging winds, with some hail.  Flash flooding will be another concern with the potential for heavy rain with storms rolling in tonight, adding to the already very saturated ground from the holiday weekend.

TIMETABLE:  Isolated storms will develop during the early evening.  Line of storms will push through the area during the overnight hours.

Flooding remains a concern for the short and long term.  Longer range models continue to pump out rain through the remainder of the work week.
