Mild Thanksgiving; Some Rain Possible

Fog has finally burned off across central Illinois leaving much of the area with mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures remain cool where it took a while for the fog to lift.  Areas that have seen sunshine for a few hours are now into the lower 60's

Skies will remain clear during the evening and overnight hours.  Winds will begin to pick up as well, so fog will not be a concern overnight.  Lows fall to the lower 40's, a good 10 degrees above the average low for this time of year.

Mild temperatures will continue for one more day, as highs surge to the mid to upper 60's across central Illinois.  Winds will continue to increase as we head into the afternoon.

A cold front will push through the region Thursday night, sparking a few scattered showers across the region.   The rain will be light and very much hit or miss through the evening hours.  Once the cold front moves through, much cooler temperatures will settle in for Friday and the rest of the weekend.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
