DENSE FOG ADVISORY
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect for all of central Illinois until noon today. Visibilities will remain below a quarter mile through the morning. Take extra time out on the roads and give yourself extra stopping distance between you and the car in front of you. Sunshine will slowly build in for the afternoon allowing highs to warm into the upper 50s. A few clouds are possible overnight with lows in the low to mid 40s. Thursday will be partly cloudy and warm before a cold front moves in from the northwest. Highs will reach the low 60s. A line of showers will begin moving east on Thursday afternoon. Most of us will see shower activity into the evening and overnight hours.Temperatures will drop quickly behind the front on Friday. Black Friday shoppers and Santa Parade attendees will want to bundle up as highs will only reach the low 40s. Saturday will bring back the sun, but highs will only reach the upper 30s. After a brief warm up on Sunday, a storm system will move in early next week. We will be on the northern edge of this system so we could see rain and snow Monday into Tuesday. Temperatures will be below normal next week with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.
