Sunny & Warm End to the Week

High pressure will make for a beautiful end to the work week. Dry air will keep us sunny this afternoon, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Clear skies overnight will quickly drop temperatures into the upper 40s and low 50s. But adding southerly winds tomorrow will help us rebound into the mid to upper 70s for highs on Friday.

The weekend will bring a few changes as a cold front moves in on Saturday. As it slowly stalls out over Illinois, showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop. We're not expecting a wash out, just a few passing storms during the day.

A few showers could last us into Sunday morning, but for the most part, Mother's Day is looking dry. Highs for the weekend will reach the upper 60s and low 70s.
