Cooler and Drier Week

After a rainy and muggy start to the morning, a cold front pushing southeast will mean a dry afternoon. Northerly winds will keep temperatures today in the low 70s, with overnight lows in the low 50s.

Skies will begin clearing overnight, staying sunny into Tuesday.  A quick, weak cold front and upper level burst of energy could bring a few showers/thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon, but most of us will stay dry through the week. A high pressure system will ensure plenty of sunshine for Thursday and Friday, but highs will still only reach the upper 60s and low 70s.

Our next best chance at rain is with a low pressure system next weekend. A stalled out cold front will start storm chances Saturday afternoon, lasting into Sunday. Hopefully we'll catch some clearing by Mother's Day afternoon.
