High pressure continues to keep skies clear today, teaming up with southerly winds for a warm afternoon. Highs today will reach the upper 70s and low 80s. Expect an increase in cloud cover overnight to keep lows mild in the mid 50s.
SATURDAY:
A cold front slowly creeping southeast across Illinois on Saturday will bring a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day. Once the line moves through, conditions will dry into Sunday. Highs on Saturday will reach the low to mid 70s.
MOTHER'S DAY:
Sunday will be the coolest day of the week. Likely dry, but with lingering cloud cover behind Saturday's front. Look for highs to reach the upper 60s and low 70s.
