High pressure continues to keep us clear today. Highs will
hit the mid to upper 80s once again this afternoon. A few clouds building in
overnight will keep lows in the low to mid 60s.
Wednesday will be nothing more than partly cloudy, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Skies will clear back out on Thursday, likely bringing the warmest temperatures of the week. Upper 80s and low 90s are possible by the afternoon. The remnants of Isaac will slowly slide north on Friday, shifting toward central Illinois by the weekend. The tropical moisture will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms as early as Friday night, lasting through Saturday and possibly into Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected in the mid 80s for the weekend. Skies will clear but temperatures will stay steady into next week.
