90's Return, and Rainy Weekend

High heat built into the central Plains Wednesday afternoon, and is expected to move into the Midwest for Thursday.

All eyes are still on Tropical Storm Isaac.  Here are the stats as of the time of this blog (10:30pm Wed).

Not much change with the track of the storm over the next several days.  Remnants of Isaac look to move into the state by as early as Friday.

Models have been in fair agreement that the moderate to heavy rain bands will move into the area on Saturday.

While numbers may change a bit over the next few days depending on the exact track and speed of Isaac, models have been fairly consistent in advertising 1-3" of rainfall for the time period between Friday night and Sunday morning.

Keep an eye to WMBD 31 weather team's facebook/twitter pages for updates this week, and of course stay tuned to WMBD 31 news at 5am-7am, Noon, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm for all the latest in what to expect for your holiday weekend.
