Quiet Midweek

Skies are already clearing out after a few scattered showers in central Illinois this morning. Look for sunshine and highs in the upper 80s this afternoon.

Thursday will end up looking a lot like today, but Friday will bring some changes. An low pressure system trying to slide in from the south will bring a chance at showers and thunderstorms to round out the work week. Another low will build in from the northwest on Saturday, keeping rain chances around for the beginning of the weekend. Temperatures will still reach the mid to upper 80s both days. We’ll start drying things out with highs in the low 90s on Sunday and Monday, before a few more possible storms next Tuesday. Temperatures will stay in the upper 80s and low 90s for much of next week.
