A stationary front to our south is keeping a few clouds around this morning. Skies will quickly clear by this afternoon, warming highs into the upper 80s and low 90s.
Conditions will stay quiet for much of the work week as a surface high pressure settles in. Look for sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 80s through Thursday. Our stagnant pattern will start to break up on Friday, bringing cloud cover and slight storm chances back to the area. A slow moving, weak low pressure system could keep scattered storms around Saturday and Sunday. Most of the rain will likely be in the southern parts of the area, with Peoria seeing little to no accumulation. Skies will stay partly cloudy into next week as highs slowly warm near 90 degrees.
