Hot and Humid Start to the Week

A very warm airmass will move in from the west today, teaming up with sunshine to bump highs into the mid to upper 90s. Tuesday will be even warmer, with highs in the upper 90s and triple digits. Both days, heat index values could top 105°. Stay cool and hydrated these next few days. Overnight lows won’t provide much relief, only cooling back into the mid 70s.

A cold front diving in from the north on Wednesday will not only bring relief from the heat, but also cooler temperatures. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms through Thursday, with highs in the low 90s.

We’ll clear things out just in time for the weekend, with highs in the low 90s. Our next chance of rain comes next Tuesday as a low pressure system builds in from the northwest.
