Sunny into Saturday
High pressure gradually sliding in today and tomorrow will bring sunshine into the weekend. Where clouds do still hang around, we could see a few sprinkles. Otherwise, Friday will be dry with highs in the low 70s. Sunny skies will warm highs into the mid 70s tomorrow. By Saturday night, a low pressure system will move into Central Illinois. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible through Sunday night. The beginning of next week is looking dry, though, with highs warming into the low 80s by Tuesday. Another wave of upper level energy will bring a chance of storms next Wednesday, but highs will still warm into the mid 80s by the end of next week.
