Strong Storms
A line of storms moving through this morning is bringing a flash flooding threat through noon today. Remember, never drive through a flooded roadway. Always find another way around. A wave of upper level energy will pop up more storms this afternoon. A few could be strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds. Highs today will be hot and humid in the upper 80s and low 90s. Rain moves east overnight with lows only dropping back into the low 70s. One or two isolated storms are possible Tuesday afternoon, but otherwise we're looking partly cloudy with highs in the low 90s. More storms are possible with an upper level wave and cold front on Wednesday. Strong to severe storms will move in for the afternoon and evening with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. The end of the workweek is looking clear and cooler. Highs on Thursday and Friday will reach the mid to upper 80s. Saturday will only see highs near 80 with a chance of storms moving in. Sunshine will be back Sunday and Monday, warming highs into the mid 80s for the beginning of next week.
