More Comfortable Through Midweek
A cold front draped across the area today will bring partly cloudy skies and a chance at scattered storms. Otherwise, we'll be comfortable with highs near 80 degrees. Clearing skies overnight will drop lows into the mid to upper 50s. High pressure on Wednesday will keep us sunny. Highs will once again reach the upper 70s and low 80s. More cloud cover returns on Thursday as a wave of upper level energy brings a slight chance of afternoon storms. Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s and low 90s by the end of the work week. An unsettled upper level weather pattern will keep a few clouds around into the weekend. A few storms are possible on Saturday afternoon, but otherwise we're looking dry. Highs remain steamy with a large, hot air mass settling in. We're expecting upper 80s and low 90s into much of next week. The unsettled upper level pattern will stick around, bringing storm chances back early next week.
