High pressure moving through will keep us sunny today. Still, winds out of the north will keep highs in the low to mid 30s.
Clear skies and calm winds will drop overnight lows into the upper teens and low 20s. Cloud cover will increase on Friday with an unsettled upper level weather pattern. Temperatures will increase into the low 40s by the early weekend. A low pressure system edging toward central Illinois will keep us cloudy Saturday and bring a chance of snow on Saturday night. Wintry mix and snow will last us into Sunday causing wet, slushy snow to accumulate.
A few flurries will stick around on Monday with temperatures cooling into the upper 30s. The middle of next week will bring back the sunshine and warm highs into the mid to upper 40s by the end of the week.
