Chilly Start to Spring
It may be the first day of Spring, but it doesn't feel like it. Wind chill values are dropping into the single digits this morning and with strong northwesterly winds, highs will only reach the upper 20s this afternoon. Cloud cover will move in for the afternoon and evening, before moving east overnight. Lows will drop back into the mid teens. Thursday is looking sunny and slightly warmer in the mid 30s. Temperatures will likely reach the low to mid 40s through the weekend. But cloud cover will begin increasing on Friday, really kicking in by Saturday. A low pressure system will move through to our south into Sunday, bringing a chance of wintry mix to the area. We could see a chance of precip as early as Saturday night, lasting all the way into Monday. Skies will clear behind that system, but temperatures remain cool in the upper 30s and low 40s through much of next week.
