Light snow and breezy winds will make travel very difficult today. Thankfully, we're not looking for much more accumulation. Highs today will only reach the low to mid 30s.
Cloud cover sticks around overnight as the snow finally moves out. Lows will drop back into the mid to upper 20s. Tuesday remains cloudy and cool with highs in the mid 30s. High pressure will bring sunshine for the middle of the week. Highs will warm into the mid 40s by Thursday and low 50s by Friday. A bit more cloud cover returns for the weekend with a large upper level trof of low pressure dropping some energy into central Illinois. A chance of precipitation builds in for Sunday, likely falling as rain with highs reaching the mid 50s. The sun returns for Monday of next week before another storm system moves in next Tuesday/Wednesday. Highs will stay in the low 50s for the beginning of next week.
