Warm and Windy Friday

A warm front is bringing a few clouds to our northernmost counties early this morning. Behind that front, we'll see clearing skies and strong southerly winds warming highs into the mid 40s this afternoon.

Clear skies and breezy winds overnight will mean mild lows near 30 degrees. Saturday will feel a lot like today with another round of winds and highs in the mid 40s.

However, a cold front Saturday night will drop temperatures way back on Sunday. The end of the weekend is looking mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 20s. A wave of upper level energy will bring a chance at flurries Sunday night into Monday. Most of us will stay dry into early next week as even cooler temperatures build in. Lows Monday and Tuesday will see lows in the single digits and highs in the teens. A warm up will move through the middle of next week. Highs could hit 40 again. A low pressure system Thursday will not only bring us a chance at wintry mix, but will also cool us down by the end of the week.
