Near Record Highs Today

Rainfall totals from the past 24 hours:

Thursday's low pressure system continues to move east today. Fog and cloud cover are left over this morning, with a DENSE FOG ADVISORY in the west and northwest until noon. W

e could see a few rays of sunshine this afternoon as breezy southerly winds warm highs into the upper 50s and low 60s later today. Peoria's record high is at 62° for today, so we could see that fall this afternoon. Look for mostly cloudy skies and lows in the 40s overnight.

A low pressure system and cold front will drop temperatures during the day tomorrow and bring a chance of wintry mix and snow Saturday night. Any precipitation will be light and will move out early Sunday morning.

Temperatures will suffer behind the front, only reaching the mid to upper 20s Sunday and Monday. We'll warm slightly into the mid to upper 30s through next week.
