Sunny End to the Week

After a very chilly start to our Friday, sunny skies and building southerly winds will warm today's highs into the upper 20s and low 30s. A few clouds building in overnight will keep lows milder in the upper teens and low 20s. A low pressure system moving in from the southwest and a cold front from the north will bring a chance of snow on Saturday. Expect flurries to begin by late morning and continue through the afternoon. Accumulations are likely to be less than a half an inch.

We'll start drying out in Sunday with cooler highs in the mid to upper 20s. Sunshine returns next Monday and Tuesday, with southerly winds warming highs into the low to mid 40s by Wednesday. A series of upper level waves at the end of next week will bring our next chance at rain and snow. The computer models are quite different with the timing of this system, but as of now, it looks like rain Wednesday night turning to a wintry mix on Thursday. Another wave on Friday and Saturday will bring back a chance of wintry mix and snow. Temperatures will cool back into the upper 20s by next weekend.
