Beautiful Weekend Ahead
Not much change expected in the forecast today. We're looking partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Skies will clear overnight, dropping lows into the mid to upper 50s. The weekend will see plenty of sunshine and highs warming into the low 80s. Southerly winds continue the warm up next week. Highs will reach the mid 80s by Monday and the upper 80s by Wednesday. Next week will be mostly sunny, but an unsettled upper level pattern could bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms next Friday and Saturday.

Still Below Normal
Upper level energy brings in a few more clouds today. Highs will still only reach the mid 70s. Friday will feel a lot like today, with lows in the mid 50s and highs in the mid 70s. Sunshine returns this weekend. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s and low 80s through Sunday. Early next week will see an even bigger boost in temperatures. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s all next week. Cloud cover settles in by next Tuesday though, looking partly to mostly cloudy through Friday.

Sunny, but Cooler Week
High pressure moving in this morning will mean plenty of sunshine today. With northerly winds, though, highs will only reach the mid to upper 70s. The forecast will stay pretty much the same for the rest of the week. Lots of sun, but temperatures remain below normal. We'll start warming things back into the low 80s this weekend. Sunshine continues early next week with highs in the mid 80s on Monday and Tuesday. More cloud cover will build in for the middle of next week. Our next chance of rain comes next Wednesday.

Spectacular Week Ahead
A few spotty showers Monday afternoon, ahead of an approaching cold front, will be about the only chance for measurable rain this upcoming week.
After the frontal passage temperatures will remain below average for much of the week.
Tonight's temps will be mainly in the upper 50's for most and low 60's down to the south.
Tuesday returns with sunny skies and cool, crisp temperatures in the upper 70's.
We remain in the upper 70's and low 80's for most of the week!

Rainy Today, Sunny this Week
A cold front diving in from the northwest will bring us a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs today will still be warm and muggy though, in the mid 80s. We'll clear out behind the cold front tonight. Lows will drop back into the upper 50s and low 60s. High pressure will keep us sunny for the rest of the work week. Great news for the Taste of Peoria! Temperatures will be slightly below normal in the upper 70s and low 80s. Sunshine continues through the weekend with temperatures warming into the mid 80s by the beginning of next week.

Spectacular Weekend Ahead
We have quite the nice weekend ahead of us but first we must face the approaching cold front to our west, which could bring us some evening showers.
As the cold front approaches, it taps into the moisture from a fairly large disturbance down to our southwest.
Moisture availability will be there to spark scattered, light showers Friday evening possible lasting into pre-dawn hours of Saturday morning.
Otherwise, we remain dry for the rest of the weekend until Monday night.
Overnight lows tonight will be in the upper 50's and low 60's.
Saturday's highs will remain below average in the low 80's with nearer normal temperatures into Sunday at mid 80's.

Today will end up feeling a lot like yesterday. Look for partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s. A cold front could pop up a few scattered afternoon showers, but most of us will stay dry. Clearing skies overnight will drop lows into the low 60s. The weekend is looking great. Sunshine will warm Saturday's highs into the low 80s. Expect a few more clouds on Sunday, but temperatures will still reach the low to mid 80s. Another cold front next Monday will bring a chance of thunderstorms. We'll clear out by Tuesday, with plenty of sunshine and mild low 80s for the Taste of Peoria on Wednesday. In fact, we should stay dry and nice through the end of the week.

This afternoon brings a slight chance for a few showers but mainly dry conditions.
Sunshine should return briefly this afternoon but clouds build back in tonight.
Highs today are near average around 85°.
Lows tonight stay in the upper 60's and low 70's.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed counties west of the Illinois River under a slight risk for Wednesday.

Sunday brings more sunny skies with temps still in the low 80's.
Monday will start off mostly sunny but clouds build in for the end of the day with a slight chance for overnight showers.
An approaching frontal boundary will spark scattered showers and t-storms Tuesday through late Wednesday.
